The Missions Minsitry focuses primarily on evangelism and service opportunities outside the continental United States. However, we embrace some efforts of a crosscultural nature within the United States. We seek to complement the focus of the Church Outreach on opportunities in and around Richmond, Virginia.This ministry stays in communication with our missionaries and their needs, thus making available the most productive evangelistic efforts possible.  The deacon in this ministry will help coordinate fundraising, campaigns (local involvement for foreign works), reports for the bulletin and the church web page.  Also, will see to the needs and care of the missionary families.  The deacon in this ministry will assist in providing the annual budget needs of this ministry to the responsible elder.
